The Youth Academy was started in 2004 and is aimed at
giving Robbinsville Township boys and girls the
opportunity to experience what is involved in being a Police Officer and the
day to day duties involved with Law Enforcement
The Youth Academy
covers topics such as arrest, handcuffing, searching, crime scenes, motor
vehicle stops, k-9 demonstrations, fire, first aid, Municipal Court and much
more.
The Academy also takes a field trip to the New Jersey
State Police Museum located in West Trenton at the State Police Division
Headquarters.
The Youth Academy
is a program for 10 to 13 year old Robbinsville Twp. residents only.
The Academy runs
for five consecutive days from 9 am to 12 Noon during the summer vacation
time of the year.
Every year we try
to have two one week sessions of the Academy
The final day of
the Academy has a graduation ceremony with certificates and a picnic
celebration for the graduates and their families.
Class size is
limited to the first 10 applicants on a first-come first-served basis.

We will send out
flyers to the schools in the spring time and will also post the Academy
